Female condom; men, is it any good for you?

Postby sickand tired » Thu Oct 07, 2010 4:44 pm

I absolutely hate condoms as they allow little to no feeling at all. I got ahold of some female condoms. Are these better for the man's side of feeling or does it seem too much like a grocery bag since they're so big?

I am interested in this too. Do any couples use these? What do you think?

DW and I tried one back when we used to use condoms. It honestly didn't feel a lot different than a normal condom except it lacked the "tightness" feeling of the condom itself. I think for us the complaint was it was too slippery, not enough friction...same thing with normal condoms.

Its been a while since we tried them, but it was just too slippery for us. It didn't cause us any problems, things still worked just fine, but it wasn't great. I was never a fan of condoms of any kind, so take my feedback with a grain of salt. :-)

Has anybody else used these before?
Does anybody like them or are they just a bad purchase?

Many years ago we bought some and tried them. I found it very much not pleasing because it was too smooth and not enough friction to make me reach orgasm. I would not compare it to a grocery bag. My wife was not that loose. I guess if you were thrusting into one of those while it was in the air, that might be a good comparison. I think your best bet is to try one. We also didn't like the way of removing the thing. And besides, we both liked skin to skin best and that was nothing like it.

I can see the smoothness as being a problem, but the movement would be closer to the real thing for the guy as the friction would be direct. I would think guys with a foreskin would especially like them as they would allow normal foreskin movement in a way a male condom can't.

That is an interesting thought because the man would be moving naturally. Maybe I will have to get some and try it.

Frank I definitely think you should try them. Of course, talk to your wife about it but it was through trying things that we figured out which ones were for us. We tried Magnums, Beyond Seven, studded, lubricated and non, the FC2, and the Reality brand. I think you might like them if your wife doesn't mind. There is that part that hangs out and my wife wasn't very much into that.
