Dear OG or admin.,

Why is the HTML turned off on my account?

I'm not an OG or admin, but from the board rules and guidelines:

"Can I use HTML?
Because of security issues HTML is not allowed on the TMB boards. If you know HTML you will pick up BBCode quickly - it's often the same code except that it's enclosed in "[ ]" instead of "< >"

I originally put this in another location and someone suggested I post this to the OG. (Good idea!)

I'm wondering if it's allowable to post a link in one of the threads that allows married women (the fact that they're Christian women is a bonus) to click on the link that will take them to a website wherein they'll answer questionnaires about body image and its effect on marital intimacy. The website would merely have questions (scholarly w/ no pictures). I'm in URGENT need of permission (by June 26) to get this going since it's for a graduate school project. I can certainly answer any follow-up questions you may have.

I sent emails to Paul & Lori (on June 16), but then realized that they must have huge amounts of emails to read and may not get to mine on time.

Thank you!

If you go to the top of the page, you will see a link labeled "The OG" in the green bar across the top of the page. Clicking that will send a message directly to the OG.

Good luck!

I sent a message to the OG the other day (admin, as well as a few by name), and I have yet to see any response to this message; either by moderation on the board, or an individual PM back to myself (even just to acknowledge receipt).

I just want to check if it got through?

An e-mail, or a PM? The new system allows you to PM the entire OG which does work. E-mail is always subject to spam filtres.

I also sent a PM to admin on July 28. So far it's still in my outbox rather than "sent items." Should I send again?

What am I doing wrong? I sent a PM to admin that's still in my outbox. I asked for advice in this thread and was told to send it again, so I did and that one just disappeared. It's not in outbox or sent items. So I tried again and now that one's sitting in the outbox as well.

Anybody know what's up? I've sent and received PM's before without problems. But this is my first attempt since the board was updated.

I've been watching for your pm and haven't seen it. What exactly are you doing when you send it, step by step. Maybe we can diagnose the problem that way.

Believe me, it isn't that we don't want to hear from you!

I went to thread called "admin". On the first post in the thread there's a pm button. Hit that button, and the private message screen pops up. I type the message and hit submit.

Is there another step I should be taking?

I know you're not trying to avoid me! TMB Admin rocks. :D

I couldn't find the thread you were talking about. But i did try sending a message to tmbadmin and it didn't come through to the OG. So when you send your pm, make sure you send it to the OG not to the tmbadmin if you want it to get to the OG.

Hope that actually helps.

OK . . . so how do I send a PM to OG? If I click the PM button under your screen name it goes to you. Is that good enough or is there another option that gets the pm to all members of the OG at once?

For now, it is good enough to just send it to me. I know there is a way to send it to the OG as a group, but somehow I am missing it right now. I'll get it figured out and let you know how to do it yet.

When you do a PM, there is a box ion the right by "Groups" with "og" as the only choice. Click on that, then add, and it does it for you. Or just put "og" in the too box.

Sorry for the delay here. If the OG does pruning or resyncing, the count will drop. It happens to everyone every now and then as we cull threads that are no longer active or if someone has posted in areas that auto-prune. You're not being picked on, it's just the way the site records posts.

Hi OG,
First of all thank you for all the work you do keeping the boards up and running.
Secondly, I have not been receiving PM's. Is there something I need to do to fix the problem or is it a "TMB thing".
Also I put "og" in the recipient box to send the above info and I got a message that said something like "this user does not exist". Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your service and help.
