Favorite wine

Postby G-force » Tue Sep 01, 2015 6:29 am

I know many here totally abstain from drinking alcohol and there are others who freely imbibe. I'm not asking for a debate on do or don't.

What wine seems to enhance your inclination to have sex the most?

We really appreciate Ecco Domani's Moscoto. It's the wine we drank on our wedding night and brings back memories! :D

We aren't wine drinkers either, but as the lyric from one of my favorite country songs goes .....

"Rain makes corn
Corn makes whiskey
Whiskey makes my baby ....
Feel a little frisky"

It definitely makes me frisky.

I don't think DH requires alcohol to get in the mood nor does it make him more inclined. If anything, it impairs his performance.

I'm with you, OML,

Nothing like a good sipping bourbon or rye. It simply cannot be improved on by mixing it with anything, or ice.

Can't say it does anything to put me in the mood, but I'm pretty much always in the mood.

For me, 2 fingers of whiskey, neat, sitting in my chair by the fireplace is one of my favorite comforts. Don't do it often, but really savor it when i do. A good Whiskey is one of my favorite gifts from DW.

For DW, Margaritas seem to be the thing, but one is not quite enough, and two, she's out like a light ::zz ::zz ::zz

Interesting. I'm the only imbiber in our marriage, which I end up doing so rarely since DH doesn't drink. Any non-alcoholic suggestions for a no libido DH?

Hi Tweed,

My DH does not imbibe either. He doesn't drink anything special to enhance his libido. Mostly he chooses his beverages for overall health. He primarily drinks bottled water with lemon, lime, mint, cucumber slices, or crushed fresh berries, also tonic water with lemon or lime slices, all kinds of hot tea. He likes a blend of cranberry juice, pineapple juice & prune juice. As a treat a milkshake.

I am the boozer in the family, never met an adult beverage I didn't like !

Since my Farmer has never had a drink in his life, I abstain most of the time. He does allow me to drink on New Year's Eve. And recently he let me buy a six pack of my favorite beer (Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss). My favorite wine is the sweetest wine I can get my hands on. :D I have some Blackberry wine from Casa de Fruta that we purchased on a recent trip to California...good stuff.

My DH is pretty opposite to those drinks. He primarily drinks diet, caffeine free soda, unfortunately. He loves carbonation. I bought him a soda stream machine so he could make his own fizzy water, but he only uses it rarely. Sigh.

Red wines make me feel very sensual and sexual. If I'm in a time of my cycle that keeps me from being easily aroused DH will pour a glass of red wine and suggest I take a bubble bath to relax before bed. It never fails to get me relaxed and needing him!

I drink red wine almost daily as a cholesterol fighter but my wife wouldn't have more than 2-3 glasses of wine a year. When she does, we are usually already in bed...

I like wine (and cocktails and beer) quite well, but it seems to adversely affect my sexual performance, even in small amounts. I'd like to drink some wine with my DW over dinner but she basically never drinks and it feels less romantic to be the only one of us drinking. So, I tend to avoid alcohol on nights when we're planning for sex.
